About EconGrader

EconGrader is an economic data dashboard and education platform that makes Federal Reserve, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and U.S. Treasury data accessible to non-economists. Every chart, indicator, and analysis on this site is powered by real-time government data that updates automatically.

Our Mission

Economic data should be available to everyone, not just Wall Street analysts and PhD economists. EconGrader translates complex economic indicators into plain-language analysis with interactive charts, trend tracking, and a simple grading system that makes it easy to understand how the economy is performing.

Data Sources

All data on EconGrader comes directly from official U.S. government sources:

  • Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) via the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis: interest rates, inflation, employment, GDP, housing, consumer data, and more.
  • Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS): detailed CPI components, employment by sector, wages, and productivity.
  • U.S. Treasury Department: national debt, Treasury yields, and government spending data.
