Information We Collect
Server logs: When you visit our site, our hosting provider may automatically log your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages visited. This is standard web server functionality and is not used for tracking or profiling.
Calculator inputs: Data you enter into our calculators (dollar amounts, interest rates, etc.) is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers or stored.
Contact information: If you voluntarily contact us through our contact form, we collect the information you provide (such as your name and email address) solely to respond to your inquiry.
We do not collect: phone numbers, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or other sensitive personally identifiable information.
How We Use Information

Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our site. Umami does not use cookies, does not track users across websites, and does not collect personal information. Artificial Intelligence

Data Retention
Server log data is retained by our hosting provider according to their standard retention schedule. We do not retain calculator inputs or other user-generated data, as these are processed client-side only. Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry.
Children's Privacy
EconGrader is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
